Dawn of The Monsters

Roles: ART DIRECTOR | GENERAL ARTIST | ANIMATOR | VFX ARTIST

In Dawn of the Monsters I led the development of the visual style of the game. In collaboration with the art and technical team, we explored new techniques and shaders that pushed the game’s visuals to a point where we managed to trick many people in thinking the game was fully 3D!

In this project, I learned a lot and improved my 2D rigging skills, and created full character rig systems, including main playable characters.

Aside of art directing, I worked in other areas of the game as general artist, creating concept art, 3D models, textures, VFX, animation and UI.

Double Cross

Roles: ART DIRECTOR | GENERAL ARTIST | VFX ARTIST

At the start of the project, I helped creating the setting and world of Double Cross, together with the narrative director and the creative diretcor. It was a challenging task, but it was really fun having such freedom coming up with crazy, different possible worlds the game could take place at!

As art director I lead a team of amazing artists making sure the art created met specifications, game requirements and deadlines.

I’ve also contributed to the project as a general artist, and worked on character assets, enemies, backgrounds and tilesets, and even rigging, animation and VFX, helping wherever needed.

Runbow

Roles: CO-ART DIRECTOR | GENERAL ARTIST | ANIMATOR

Runbow started as a Game Jam Game project, where 4 friends and I came up with the original game idea and mechanics.

After starting to push the game as a commercial project, I worked with the other artists to develop and refine the art style and art direction.

I designed the characters, enemies many of the costumes for the game.

I had an especially great time adapting the guest characters’ designs into Runbow, in partnership with so many amazing developers and studios!

As a first time animator in this project, I rigged and animated all characters in the game. It was a challenge at first, but I managed to take in a new skill!
